Quick Facts about Pathways
PROMYS Pathways provides deep mathematical experiences to students who are from backgrounds traditionally underrepresented in STEM and to those who might not otherwise have access to extracurricular mathematics opportunities. These opportunities include the Pathways Summer Program, weekly math circles, and special collaborative events. PROMYS Pathways strives to create a welcoming environment where all students can thrive mathematically.

PROMYS Pathways Math Circles
PROMYS Pathways Math Circles provide students with an opportunity to explore exciting and challenging mathematical topics throughout the school year. Meeting regularly during the school year, the circles offer a space where high school students can come together to engage in deep mathematical thinking and problem-solving. Facilitated by knowledgeable educators and mentors, these sessions encourage collaborative exploration of concepts that go beyond the standard classroom curriculum. The Math Circles are designed to cultivate a love for mathematics, boost students' confidence in their abilities, and build a sense of belonging within a community of peers who share their passion for learning and discovery. PROMYS Pathways also runs a Virtual Math Circle that students can access online.
Collaborative Events
In addition to its regular programming, PROMYS Pathways hosts a series of special math events throughout the year, designed to bring together students from the various math circles and foster a strong sense of community. These events offer unique opportunities for students to engage with mathematics in exciting, real-world contexts, while interacting with peers, educators, and mathematicians. These events enrich students' mathematical journeys by exposing them to new ideas, challenges, and inspiring environments.
