Lanlan Zhang is honored to serve on the PROMYS Board of Directors. A longtime supporter of the program since her experience as a PROMYS parent seven years ago, she brings over 25 years of experience in the finance industry. Lanlan began her career at China International Capital Corporation (CICC) in 1999 as a Telecom Analyst. She went on to serve as Chief Analyst, Head of the TMT and Strategic Research departments, and later as CEO and Vice Chairwoman of CICC US Securities Inc. (2009–2020). Since 2021, she has managed private equity investments for CICC Capital Management in the U.S. Lanlan holds an MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where she was the first Jepsen Scholar from China, and a BA from Shanghai International Studies University. She looks forward to supporting PROMYS’s mission of cultivating mathematical talent around the world.
