PROMYS Co-Founder and Faculty
Marjory Baruch teaches mathematics and computer science at Syracuse University. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. Professor Baruch has spent every summer at PROMYS since its founding in 1989. Besides supervising the undergraduate counselors at PROMYS, Professor Baruch typically teaches an advanced seminar in algebra. She is also a Trustee of the charitable PROMYS Foundation created to support the PROMYS mission.
