PROMYS Co-Founder and Faculty
David Fried is Professor of Mathematics at Boston University. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkley in 1976. His research interests are dynamical systems, topology, and differential geometry. Professor Fried has taught at PROMYS every summer since its inception in 1989, and runs the Exploration Labs for both high school students and teachers in the program.
